The people
Founder
Agronomy engineer from EARTH University and Master in Agribusiness Management from INCAE Business School, Daniela brings experience across government, private industry, and civil society. At Ecuador's Ministry of Agriculture, she helped shape the regulatory framework for emerging crops, from regulations and licensing to technical guidelines. Her work spans agricultural production, international trade, and global supply chains. She also leads REDCANN, advancing evidence-based cannabis policy and responsible regulation. At SurV, Daniela combines agribusiness strategy, regulatory expertise, and market insight to transform Ecuador's agricultural potential into scalable global opportunities.
Co-Founder
A serial entrepreneur since the early 1980s, Don is a polymath whose career spans sales, logistics, commercial real estate, distressed-debt investment, international agribusiness development and cannabis entrepreneurship. Cold-storage operator, farmer, extraction-plant manager, agronomist and researcher of cannabis applications for livestock, he now develops green agricultural solutions with SurV.
